The Product:
Anhydrite screed is a flowing screed based on a mixture of sand aggregate and a calcium sulphate binder.
Our Anhydrite screeds are delivered to site premixed by nominated concrete suppliers under BS EN 13454 stringently controlled conditions ready to use.
Anhydrite screeds are eco friendly based on 50mm every 1000m2 you will save 38 tonnes of landfill.
Anhydrite screeds have higher thermal conductivity allowing you to reduce heat input into the screed vs. heat output.
The Anhydrite Screed is placed using the normal process of setting levels to achieve the required depth.
The natural flexural strength of this product and the lack of voids mean it may be laid substantially thinner than conventional materials. Over insulation minimum thickness is normally 40mm for commercial application and 35mm for domestic application. When used in conjunction with underfloor heating pipes Anhydrite screeds can be laid to a minimum thickness of 45mm.
This product is available for supply throughout Galway, Limerick, Tipperary, Westmeath, Cavan, Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim, Offaly and Clare.
The Benefits:
Shrinkage: Anhydrite screeds have virtually no drying shrinkage. Movement joints are rarely necessary. Ideal for use in buildings with large rooms such as schools, commercial units dwellings with large kitchen/dining rooms.
Drying Times: Due to the fact that the Anhydrite screeds are normally thinner than conventional screeds drying times are significantly reduced also because the screed cures in 7 days they can be force dried with the UFH or by dehumidifiers for fast tracks builds such as refurb’s.
Productivity: Average pouring between 500 --- 1000m2 per day
Acoustic Performance: Due to thinner screeds 30mm minimum Anhydrite screeds can be used on timber joists upstairs with engineers approval.
